Improved performance and horsepower
This is my personal car. A 1995 Nissan 240sx (S14), engine code KA24DE. I purchased for $3,200 and the car had 125,000 miles on it. The previous owner said that he changed the oil on a regular basis, and it ran perfectly fine for the first 3 months.
After having the car for about 3 months some minor problems started occuring. I would smell burnt oil when I parked and stopped driving, I also noticed that I wasn't getting very good fuel mileage, much less than what the car says it gets from the factory. After some mechanical work that had to be done, I still wasn't happy with my cars performance. I started looking at some basic, cheap ways to improve my Nissan 240sx, since I was low on cash.
A co-worker of mine introduced me to the synthetic motor oil world. He gave me a ton of literature and showed me all the benefits that synthetic oils give engines. After seeing and reading all the facts, I couldn't believe how bad regular conventional oil was for any engine. After reading up on the facts, of course, I ordered 6 quarts of Synthetic 10w-40 Motor Oil.
The oil came in only two business days. The following weekend, me and my father did a complete oil change on my car. Using the Synthetic 10w-40 in my car I have noticed some major differences. The first noticeable difference was how my engine ran. It just ran smoother and cooler, I couldn't believe it. Another big difference was how my car performed. It feels more aggressive, due to more horsepower gained from a smoother running engine. The best thing of all is my fuel mileage increased by about 3 to 4 miles per gallon!
With an added 3 to for miles per gallon my Nissan 240sx gets about 35 more miles per gallon with each fill up of my tank! Imagine where else you could go knowing you have 35 more miles per fill up! On average people gain about 8.2% more miles per gallon after they switch to synthetic oil! Why are you spending 200 to 300 dollars a month on a new hybrid car when you can up your fuel efficiency by doing simple things to your car! Stop using conventional oil now and switch to synthetic! Since switching I know my engine has the best possible protection against sludge build up and engine wear. If your serious about keeping your eningine healthy and want longer engine life, you need a synthetic oil, this this is the best possible synthetic motor oil out on the market!
Another thing I have noticed is that my car doesn't burn nearly as much oil, in fact I barely have to add more oil to my engine at all. If your car is burning a little bit of oil, switching to synthetic motor oil can help that as well! Also, switching to a heavier grade of oil can help out with burning small amounts of oil as well. I changed from a conventional 10w-30 oil to a Synthetic 10w-40 motor oil. I've noticed barely any oil burn at all! This is a must do for any car! Make the SWITCH!
Since I switch to Amsoil (Amzoil), I will never go back to using cruddy conventional oil again. I have improved horse power, over all performance and protection against engine wear and sludge build up! Look at the figures, synthetic oil is guaranteed for 25,000 miles and conventional oil is only guaranteed for 3,000. That's eight times as long, that is how good synthetic oils are! Why waste money on something that actually hurts your engine. My Nissan 240sx has done nothing but gained power and life by switching. This is true story about my car and how it has improved everything about my engine.
