Dual-Base 15W-40 Heavy-Duty Diesel/Gasoline Oil
AMSOIL Dual-Base 15W-40 HD Diesel/Gasoline Oil (PCO) features a select blend of synthetic and hydrocracked petroleum base stocks formulated with proven extended life anti-wear additives. This “mixed fleet” oil is excellent for both diesel (including modern EGR units) and gasoline engines, combining versatility and heavy-duty engine protection into one cost effective motor oil. Dual-Base 15W-40 HD Diesel/Gasoline Oil is formulated with high performance additives to effectively control acids and soot thickening, while also preventing corrosion, wear and deposits in all engines. The synthetic construction of Dual-Base 15W-40 HD Diesel/Gasoline Oil reduces oil consumption and improves cold weather starting, making it ideal for all season use in on and off road applications.

Mixing Amsoil
AMSOIL Dual-Base 15W-40 HD Diesel/Gasoline Oil (PCO) is compatible with petroleum and synthetic lubricants; however, mixing AMSOIL with other oils will shorten the extended drain period. Oil additives or aftermarket products are not recommended for use with AMSOIL Dual-Base 15W-40 HD Diesel/Gasoline Oil.
Service Life
Light-duty diesel engines, non-turbocharged diesel engines, heavy-duty diesel engines, turbocharged diesel engines, fleet vehicle engines and industrial engines: drain oil at intervals recommended by the engine manufacturer.
Personal car and light truck non-turbocharged gasoline engines: drain oil at intervals recommended by the engine manufacturer.
Non-commercial, turbocharged passenger car gasoline four-cycle engines, motorcycles, small off-road fourcycle gasoline engines, marine craft engines and infrequently used four-cycle gasoline automotive engines: use engine manufacturer's oil drain recommendations.
High-performance or racing engines: drain oil at intervals determined by the findings of a used oil analysis program.
Change AMSOIL Full Flow Oil Filters at 12,500 mile or six month intervals, whichever comes first, in gasoline engines.
In diesel engines change AMSOIL Oil Filters at 7,000 miles or six months, whichever comes first. Change other manufacturers' filters at the engine manufacturer's recommended filter change intervals.
